MACP, RCC, Founder.
As a compassionate and dedicated counsellor, I am committed to providing a supportive, non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life challenges. I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Gottman’s Couples Therapy, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. By integrating these evidence-based modalities, I work collaboratively to foster personal growth, enhance emotional resilience, and help clients develop practical tools for navigating anxiety, stress, relationship dynamics, and other life concerns. With a deep respect for each person’s journey, my goal is to empower clients to achieve emotional well-being, improve relationships, and lead more fulfilling, balanced lives.
Empowering you to navigate your inner waters with clarity and calm.
As a counsellor, one of the core values is creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. This is especially important for individuals, couples, and those who have a deep connection to nature. For individual clients, a counsellor’s empathy and active listening are crucial in building trust and understanding the unique challenges they may face. Whether dealing with personal struggles, mental health issues, or self-discovery, a counsellor who values empathy ensures clients feel supported in their journey toward healing and growth.
Couples value a counsellor's ability to remain neutral and impartial, as this fosters open communication and helps them navigate conflicts constructively. By ensuring both partners feel equally valued and heard, a counsellor can guide them toward understanding each other’s perspectives and finding common ground. This approach not only strengthens their relationship but also empowers them to work together toward shared solutions. For clients with a love for nature, a counsellor’s commitment to holistic practices and connection to the environment can be incredibly healing. Many individuals find comfort, clarity, and growth through nature-based therapies like ecotherapy or mindfulness in natural settings, and a counsellor who embraces this perspective can help them explore those benefits. Whether using nature as a metaphor for personal growth or encouraging outdoor activities, counsellors who recognise the value of nature support clients in cultivating a deeper sense of well-being.
