Couples come to counselling for all sorts of reasons—whether it’s stress from life outside the relationship, differences in parenting styles, struggles with trust, or a desire to reconnect and find joy in each other again. One of the biggest challenges many face is communication—feeling misunderstood, not knowing how to express needs, or getting stuck in negative patterns that create further distance. As a compassionate and dedicated counsellor, I am committed to providing a supportive, non-judgmental space for couples to explore these challenges.

Relationships can be complex, and counselling offers a transformative space for growth and healing. I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Gottman’s Couples Therapy. These evidence-based modalities allow me to tailor my approach to each couple’s unique needs, focusing on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and fostering emotional resilience. We work together on developing skills like active listening, speaking with empathy, and expressing thoughts and emotions in ways that bring partners closer rather than driving them apart.

My goal is to help each partner develop practical tools to navigate challenges, improve how they communicate, and ensure both feel truly heard and supported. By integrating these approaches, I help couples strengthen their relationship, build resilience, and cultivate lasting emotional well-being.
